    Aurora Phantom of the Opera

    ...is getting nearer to completion!

    Managed to get the cape done this weekend. I purposely avoided making the inside of the cape red like 99% of the buildups I've seen. Dracula will have a red cape and I want the Phantom to stand out from him...I think purple is very operatic!

    Almost there...just need to finish painting the prisoner and a few minor pieces and then assemble everything. I worked subtle blues and greens into the stonework to compliment the Phantom's yellow skin and purple cape/tie.
    The nameplate lettering will also be purple and tie everything together.

    Awesome as usual. That was on my list of models to find for me and the boy to complete our Universal Monsters series. Sadly, teenage years have kind of slowed that project list down.

    Yes, it is subtle, but it adds a lot.
    Also like the rust stains below the bars.
