I just got the Tarzand Batman graphic novel

Don't spoil it for me, though. I've been hankering after this thing for a while.

Comic books have just become so expensive lately, I've given up on collecting.

This one though, really caught my interest back when it first premiered; but for one reason and another, I never got it.

I plan to thoroughly enjoy this thing later on.

I find it's a good premise, and the artwork looks excellent.

    Okay, I read it.

The artwork was excellent, the premise was engaging, and while there was some gore, it wasn't excessive, and the villain was taken care of very nicely.

For those of us who haven't read it yet, I highly recommend it. (I'm also not giving away any spoilers here. Go get a copy; it's well worth the money.)

This version of Tarzan is nothing like Johnny Weissmuller's version, who wasn't at all literate, and couldn't speak English all that well.

He is highly educated, determined, ruthless, and much prefers the jungles of Africa to the concrete jungles of Gotham.

Yeah, the art in that Superman/Tarzan turned me right off. love Chuck Dixon's stuff, but that Manga +Bigfoot style never did it for me. Ed McGuineess is as far as I go on that train.
