Yeah, they're the originals, from a different planet actually. Always a favourite design of mine, awfully creepy.

The ones from Mondas are the originals, and the others assimilated and upgraded like Borg, in subsequent serials?

I kind of want someone to peel back that pink rubber, I bet they're a mess lol.

I love how creepy these look. The modern Cyberman just looks like it ripped off a Iron Man design.

This is super cool! Seeing the return of an earlier incarnation of the Cybermen was a great idea! I would agree that the current breed of Cybermen look a lot like Iron Man, Mark II (or could that be the other way 'round since the current manifestation of the Cybermen actually showed up in "The Rise of the Cybermen" in 2006, a full three years prior to the first IRON MAN film)....

This is great! Having watched all of the 60s Doctor Who a few years back (including the missing episodes, in reconstructed form), I couldn't be more excited about this. The sock-head Cybermen are indeed quite creepy. I hope they talk the same way as well, where their mouth slot opens up but remains static while they speak in a whining metallic monotone, then closes again.

In terms of Star Trek, this would be like having TNG-era or later crew suddenly run across some original, non-ribbed-forehead, classic series Klingons. How cool would that be?

WANTED: partly-unsealed or bubble-damaged carded Romulan + unbroken plant trap from Mission to Gamma VI

I always liked these Cybermen because you knew there was a human in there (which there suppose to be) --- kinda like the Borg.

The newer ones up to today just look like robots.
