    ^Nice.

I'd like to see Ross' take on the Superman vs, Shazam! classic cover, featuring Allyn vs. Tyler (or perhaps McMurray).
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Love Ross. My favorite comic artist by far. I've got the huge slipcase edition of Kingdom Come and the D.C. Art of Alex Ross that details his art from childhood on. I highly recommend them.

I've got the DC Art of Alex Ross hardback myself and it's one of my prized books. I've been looking to snag a copy of the slipcase version of KINGDOM COME. How big is the actual book, anyway?
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

There's an art exhibit of Alex Ross's work going in in Virginia right now, with a signing day on April 1. I'm going to try to make the exhibit, but can't make the signing because I promised to take my daughter to an Anime convention that day. Here's the info:

It's beautiful! It's about 16" tall and 11" wide with tons of extra sketches. I was going to post pics but my internet is too slow tonight. The Rough Justice is worth the money too.

I appreciate that Ross seems to have put aside the odd day-glow colors he has gotten into of late. This is classic Ross.

The only problem with this image is the Dean Cain Superman should in it instead of Christopher Reeves with this group.

In one episode of Lois & Clark the Keaton Batmobile showed up in it.

This progression makes more sense with who is in it, I'm no Chris Reeve fan, but he looked the part more than Cain did. Be nice if he did one more with the CW guys, Bale's Batman and Cavill's Supes.

It looks kinda weird if you turn the picture to make the buildings right side up.
