They still do exclusives, like the black costume Catwoman, and BBTS still carries new stuff, I thinks its more a matter of them not liking the sellers undercutting the prices and some of the retailers not carrying the product anymore, Entertainment Earth being the most noticeable. No Jonny Quest or Scooby Doo there.

I just twigged to the fact that they're including a 'henchwoman' in each pack as well. That's pretty awesome. I think I'll be in for all of these (assuming the quality's there, of course).
At this point, the only characters I wish they could have added to put a bow on the line would have been Aunt Harriet, Comm. Gordon, and False Face (I don't see any of the other villains as visually distinctive enough, though I could be convinced). Fortunately, that's a small list, and some great customs already show that the last two can be put together effectively.Comment

I have to admit that I'm kind of on the fence when it comes to the Catwomen. Considering the truly hirrid sculpts that were Batgirl and Barbara Gordon, I'm dreading how they might turn out.
On the other hand, we will finally be getting an AA female head, to go with the brown body.
I hope that the sculpts aren't anything like the IG heads, or the Daisy Duke, or God forbid Maya from Space 1999.JediJaidaComment

There's likely license restrictions on that sort of thing, otherwise we'd likely be getting False Face (he's the easiest to fudge of anyone). The henchmen were generic enough that, if they aren't naming them specifically, they can get away with using any head; it would just be the costume, not the character, they'd need rights to. They could likely make a GCPD officer, as well, but doing a named character like Gordon would likely require the rights to the actor under the '66 license. They outright couldn't do Batgirl until Craig signed the paper, even though the masked version could have been easily fudgable. Unless we could see the actual licensing agreement, it's mostly just guesswork what can and can't be done, but we do have a few clues in what they couldn't do previously.
Anyway, glad to see Catwomen finally coming (still wondering if Merriwether is a possible exclusive somewhere), and Alfred in the Batsuit with the skinny body is a solid variant; the other Alfred re-use, not so much, not so memorable. Really thinking a surfer Dick Grayson to complete the beach set. I am interested in seeing what the henchmen look like; they have been much requested since the line started, so it's nice to see FTC listening on that count.Comment
