Shindana Love: The Juice and The Doctor!

Never cared for O.J. as a Trojan or a double-murderer, but somewhere in between in Buffalo, he carried the rock better than anyone.

Beautiful head sculpt on The Juice.

Grew up a Lakers fan, but was always in awe of Dr. J. Shindana did him justice with this beautiful figure. They nailed his likeness, the fierce fro, and his Converse.

My favorite Dr. J move was against my boys back in the 1980 Finals, when the good Doctor decided to defy gravity.

You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.

Sans the fro that Dr J looks more like Billy D Williams than any Lando sculpt ever done.

Their figures are all great. The OJ likeness is there, for sure.

Shindana had a loose connection to Mattel and I imagine that they used some of the same sculptors. The company always had great likeness.

The only prob is OJ's sculpt is very soft -- almost like an LJN sculpt compared to a Mego

It probably has to be a softer head in order to get it into and out of the helmet without damaging it, specifically the fro.
