    Very cool Trade Ad.

Snake-Eyes looked like he could be used for Star Wars, so that was a powerful attraction.

the 12 inch Joes were my older brother and cousin's era.(I was a Big Jim guy) but I have fondness for adventure joe through the record/book sets. But man when tv advertisements came in for the comic book, wow! never seen anything like that, instant excitement.I did still think Joe was one guy when the 3" figure came out, until I read the comic.I found them first at Kay-Bee's.my first one bought was Flash. When GI Joe issue 11 came out,and introduced brand new joes,i reread that particular comic countless times .

I remember first seeing carded joe figures in a Drug Fair store of all places...I had the old joes and SW stuff so I wasn't sure on these guys...I ended up having a huge collection of the stuff and wish I had collected MIB and MOC stuff from the line...Think my first vehicle was the Dragonfly and then for Christmas I got the original HQ and Killer Whale...
