I've been away for many months adjusting to my new life and new career, but I can honestly say I truly love what I do. As a banker for a large, regional bank I have the privilege of helping a wide variety of clients with a myriad of issues. I totally enjoy the individual interactions and the potential of finding solutions and new financial ideas. Some days and some clients aren't great, but I wake up each day knowing the potential is there for success and that I can make a real, tangible difference in someone's life.
The career change at 47 was scary as he'll, but now I'm just kinda mad at myself for not being strong enough to leave the toxic environment I'd been working in for 15 years. Julie and I are now in the pre-approval process for a house. I never thought I'd ever be in a position to do that.
So, everything is moving forward. Last June at Megomeet I had no idea where I was going. This year I'll be much more fun to be around! For the first time in a decade I'm completely free of anxiety and depression meds.
It's nice to return home. I missed you guys.
