Mattel DC Multiverse 6 inch Superfriends

Pretty nice looking for repaints and Batman finally has a fabric cape.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I'm so on board for these...surprising they didn't have Wonder Woman, what with the movie & all. Maybe another wave closer to film release, or another store like Target will get other exclusives.
Hopefully without the collector parts (a feature I despise!) these will retail at a lot less than the current $20 price point.

To me, Batman and Superman are worth it for the fabric capes alone. Finally a DCUC Batman that can actually sit in a Batmobile.

That Batman figure also reminds how much I miss the oval bat insignia. I hope they do more than the four shown on the package. This could be a really fun line.

So Mattel is jumping on the Super Friends bandwagon! These are nice for DCUC repaints. Wish they could have new heads to be more show accurate. Hope more are made and Legion of Doom! DCUC Series 18 was a SF wave.

Apparently they still know how to get my money.

Toy News International is apparently down, but I googled and found some pics!

These are nice! Sure, I'd like to see new original sculpts, but the DC Direct Super Friends were dead-on. Mattel never wanted to give this Batman the blow nose highlight on his cowl, so I'm glad to see that rectified!

I got wind of these already showing up here, so i shocked my wife when I told her I would leave the house on Saturday and go to Wal-Mart with her.

Only found a a plan-o-gram for today but Criminy, these things are $30!

30?! Where do you Live? Previous Multiverse are now like $16.84 at my IL Wal-Mart. I don't know if this is temporary or new price, though. For $30 I'll stick with FTC Super Friends Megos.
