FF Robin Tunic Question

On the UK Palitoy Robin FF, does anyone know whether some were produced with a square cut out of the rear of the tunic, in order to accommodate the black lever. The reason I ask, is that there is a seller on eBay, who claims his FF is all original, and he has had it from new. However, it does not have a tunic with the slit at the back, but a square cut out of the tunic. Thanks.

Sorry, when I refer to the tunic having a "slit" on the back, if you take a look at this Palitoy Robin F F that I saw for sale on EBay, this is what I mean.

So, are we saying that ALL Palitoy Robin FF, should have a tunic like this, or are there some wit her a square cut out, so the black lever can stick out? Thanks

I have never seen one like that, I think the tunic is a regular issue that has been cut.

All 3 of mine have 1 vertical cut in the middle and are sewn along the edges

got to disagree im afraid
ive had at least 7 of these pass through my hands over the years
and never had one like the first auction with the slit
only had the cut out ,slightly more oblong perhaps than square ,if im nitpicking
but never a slit ,only ever had the palitoy version ,so not idea about the us release
