In a world where humanity must cope with the collateral damage of Super Heroes and Super-Villains, Emily Locke (Vanessa Hudgens) begins her first day as Director of Research & Development for Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises that specializes in products that make defenseless bystanders feel a little safer. Full of confidence and big ideas, Emily quickly learns that her expectations far exceed those of her new boss (Alan Tudyk) and officemates, so it will be up to her to lead the team toward their full potential and the realization that you don’t need superpowers to be a hero.

"Powerless" premiers Thursday, Feb. 2nd at 8:30 pm ET on NBC starring Vanessa Hudgens, Danny Pudi, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches and Christina Kirk.

This looks like a lot of fun, and reminds me a LOT Of the Marvel late 80s series Damage Control, but I think that's been brought up quite a bit.

First time I've watched the trailer. It's good to see that DC can actually poke a little fun at itself and it looks like they've finally beaten MARVEL to the punch with a comics-based comedy (I heard MARVEL has/had DAMAGE CONTROL in the works for a while). Getting Danny Pudi AND Alan Tudyk together just makes it that much more enjoyable. My fave bits had to be the dude's car getting totaled and the guy putting together WW's Invisible Jet...

This show takes place in the DC TV Multiverse on Earth P. The superhero guest stars will mostly be from the Global Guardians.

I did. I thought it was fun. Maybe a little derivative of a half-dozen other comedies, but a fresh and funny perspective on what it would be like to live in a comic book world where all the costumed and super-powered crazy goes on regularly. I'll hang through another few episodes before making any decisions.

It was a fun and different take on DC Comic TV Universe than the Arrow verse I cannot wait to see more Global Guardians in the future.

I loved seeing the Olympian in this week's episode. That is three global Guardians so far.

I really enjoyed the design of Crimson Fox, but I remember Olympian having the Golden Fleece worked into his costume as a helmet/cape (Mightor? ).
