I disagree with what he says about them being older. I think by saying it will be Lethal Weapon space, they mean buddy cop movie. one cop uptight and unapproving of the new partner, then becoming friends.

Sounds like "Men in Black" to me, but I'm open to the idea. I've always thought Green Lantern was a good character in search of a good story in whatever format he was being presented. It's rare anyone ever knows what to do with him, whichever GL they're dealing with.
