Kong Skull Island toys by Lanard.

Looks like Lanard is trying to go big time.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I'm excited for this just on the prospect of Lanard turning into a major player in the toy isle. Inexpensive (but not poor quality) fun toys meant to be toys. Hasbro's and Mattel's prices have been getting a little crazy.

It appears that except for Kong and the monster figures, the rest of the toyline are all reused figures and vehicles from The Corps.

I used to buy a lot of Lanard stuff and always thought it was a great value.

Depending on price and availability, I could see myself picking up a good chunk of this line.

Good for them on getting a license and from the looks of it doing something nice with it. Lord knows Mattel and Hasbro have dropped the ball on several movie licenses in the last several years.

We have 2 Wal Marts in town and neither ever has a well-stocked toy department and it is impossible to find almost anything specific when you go, yet they manage to move the toy department and rearrange it every 2 months making it even harder to find anything when you look for it, so I don't rely on my local Wal Mart for anything toy related. If I find anything there it's a bonus surprise not an accepted norm.

Had a sticker saying "Only at Walmart".

looked at that at WM, the lack of leg articulation sucks, especially considering how good the arms are.
