After looking at dozens of screen caps and drawings from the cartoon, I don't think they ever drew him the same way twice! Everything changes… his hair/beard, helmet emblem, bando, belt, tunic all have variables, but I really loved the look of the red jewel and rank insignia/glyph of this version of the helmet.
