love the fact that I'll finally be able to watch unaltered original episodes of this series (outside of "Eagle Riders" and bad youtube transfers). Bring on the Gatchaman F DVD set next!

Your Blu-ray collection is the original animated series, which many of us experienced in an altered format as Battle of the Planets during our childhoods. Gatchaman 2 was the sequel series, with new Pheonix and other vehicles, new weapons, a new big bad to replace "Zoltar", and an initial replacement Condor member for Joe who (spoilers) died at the end of the original series. It was translated as Eagle Riders for a north american audience in the 90's.

Very nice! If only there was a way to kick start the BOTP version. I feel that will forever stay locked in animated oblivion.

The problem with BOTP as much as i like it the origional holds up better then the dubbed american version
