Up Close: Super Friends Wave 4

Both the recent waves of Super Friends figures came at the same time, which is fine by us.

Wave four of Superfriends is 75% Legion of Doom members and includes some highly anticipated characters including Bizarro, Cheetah, Toy Man and the Green Lantern.

So, as with all of our “Mego Museum Up Close” features, we let the pictures do the talking. All the figures were popped directly from the packaging, posed but there is no augmentation or fixing, they are as I got them.

Like what you see? You can order them at our Sponsor Entertainment Earth right now.

Thanks again for these up close features. Looks like they take a bit of time and I certainly appreciate them.

This was actually a very well put together set. They could have easily done a print screen for Green Lantern's suit. I'm glad they chose to go the sewing route.

Even Cheetah doesn't look too bizarre even though with the large ears she kinda looks like Cheetah Bear. hehehe

Excellent photo review Brian! I always enjoy these. The pictures say it all. You know as a kid I never imagined the Superfriends looking this good in Mego form. Hats off to FTC for working outside that old box to make these extra special. Love them.

There's a lot to like in the SF line for sure.

If you've ever watched Brian photograph figures you know it's a labor of love. It does take a lot of time combined with skill. I have no doubt that Brian could hand me the camera at any time and the results would look like garbage relative to his.

Love it that Nigma photo-bombed the shoot!

Thanks for looking, I really appreciate the feedback.

I set up a new studio in my garage and weird as it sounds, there is something cathartic about cranking the stereo, drinking a beer and photographing your dolls on a rainy Saturday.

Is Cheetah's cowl removable? If so can we see pics of it removed? Would love to see what see look like without it. Thanks in advance
