    Wayne Foundation remake?

Since I'm bored waiting on a line...would anyone else be interested in a FTC remake of the Wayne Foundation?

I was already well into adulthood before knowing the original had ever existed, so I would love a remake.

I wonder if this is even remotely possible...

I would! Admittedly, what I really covet are the furnishings.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

      Yes! Instant buy!
While we're on the subject of Batman accessories: did anyone else notice the Batmobile pictured on the back of the Batman/Robin/Bat-Signal offering announced in last week's newsletter? Is that just a pic of vintage Mego items, or is FTC going to be offering a repro Batmobile ?

Hmm, that does give one pause. I thought the Batmobile was forbidden.

Yeah, I think the restriction specifically prohibits a "rolling" Batmobile? Perhaps this will be a stationary model? Or maybe they found a work-around? I seem to remember there being a poll a while back asking opinions on a non-rolling Batmobile if that were the only option, was that initiated by FTC? Since the pic above pictures the FTC prison Joker and Penguin figures, it doesn't seem likely they'd mix in a vintage Batmobile. Here's hoping!

Hate to see how much a Wayne Foundation would cost. The Batcave comes in at $80,the new vans are $100 each,so I'm guessing it would be in the neighborhood of $200?

That'd be my guess, too...but a far cry from what an original in good shape would cost.

I'd be all over it. I have coveted one for years.

DC Collectibles was able to make a free wheeling BTAS Batmobile...maybe FTC could partner with them to re-release the Mego version.

An affordable furnished Wayne Foundation is a must! Where else should we park blue and black batcycles, the batmobile, the batlab, the Robincycle, Nightwingcycle, and Alfred's Chrysler Cordoba?
I post in thy general direction!

DC Comics/Collectibles is the licenser. It may have retained the rights to do what it wants. I'm guessing FTC has a sub-license from Mattel with Mattel setting restrictions to protect its products.

Of course, FTC may be working under a new agreement with loosened restrictions. Or the Batmobile might not roll, as originally mentioned.

I'm a bit worried about the Wayne Foundation happening. With the Batcave not selling out, FTC might be a bit leery.

I would love for there to be a FTC reissue of the Wayne Foundation. It would be an instant buy for me.

FTC said they wouldn't make the Wayne Foundation.
