I won't...still don't see the point of this figure, especially when majority of what FTC makes is DC..not Marvel..

So when I opened up the newsletter I was on my phone and it was loading slowly, all I could see was "He brought us Heroes, Villains and Gods, and worlds beyond our wildest dreams." I thought oh man there making a Marty Abrahms figure sweet! The father of our beloved Mego's. I was a little surprised wen it finally loaded to reveal Stan Lee. Not that he isn't going to be a cool figure, just thought it was odd to have the creator and cocreator of marvel characters be released by a company that doesn't make Marvel figures.
            Cool none the less

Makes sense to me! I'm going to buy several. Stan is a true legend in his own time. Nobody can compare to him in the comic business. I will have a Mego-like Stan Lee finally! I'm so glad they are finally making a figure I want at FTC.

It makes sense to most people because it's just pop culture and they'll just put him with their marvel figures. Give me a break.

Could a Julius Schwartz be far behind?!?
FTC needs to perfect the "wandering hands" action feature before that stellar release.

^Jeez what do you all know about Julie that I don't? I hold him in the same esteem that most Marvelites here do for Stan.

I would flip out to get a figure of the great Jim Aparo! This Brave and the Bold was my favorite comic as a kid and I still love it.

Plus Aparo draws Batman the best as far as I'm concerned.

Expectation is the death of discovery.

Neal Adams was thee Batman artist, but I really grew up more on Aparo than Adams (and Infantino because of all the old issues I had read).

It's too bad more of these greats are not as well known as Stan Lee, a figure that I will be buying.

Pretty cool. I might buy a Stan Lee. I bet many folks here will suit there's in a Spider-Man outfit or something.

As for Julie Schwartz he had a reputation of being miserable to the fairer sex at comic conventions. I'm sure it'd be easy to find articles online. I don't know if he was always that way or just became a crazy old man like old men do just like his buddy Ray Bradbury. Not that that excuses bad behavior.

I'd be on board for those. I still want the Jack Kirby mini bust Bowen designs did..

                                I'll definitely be getting one!
Just wondering what "era" they plan to depict: Silver Age, Bronze Age or current? Will they be doing multiple versions?
