RIP Steve Dillon co-creator of Preacher

Comic artist Steve Dillon passed away at age 54 of undisclosed causes. It was the first piece of news I read this morning. Best known as the artist and co-creator of Preacher and his work on the Punisher, his presence in the industry will be missed, but his legacy is assured. Thoughts to all his family, friends and colleagues.

Damn.
I first encountered his awesome work back around 1980 on the Abslom Daak strip in DWW, and I also loved the stuff he did for 2000AD such as his stints on Judge Dredd and Rogue Trooper.
A great talent.
