Hey Kids! Did anyone miss me?
It’s been a few months! Summer vacations, Back to School, Work and Life keeping me from some Mego Making time.
I was happy to finish this one up – Really just a little more work than a Bash.
Alex Ross Style Captain America! (Because a wise man once said “1 can NEVER have to many different Captain America’s in their collection”) – No really you can never have enough Captains – I think him and Batman both fall under that statement.
Oh that wise man was me who said it – LOL! I’m clearly bias making that statement.
The Head was made & Painted by Black Knight – Thanks J!
It was not originally intended for this dark of a suit. So I had to Sacrilegiously repaint over a BK Head to match the Blue on the head to the suit.
The suit is from the Retro Cap Set (as I have said many times before – I’m very happy the re-mego companies make stuff – even if people have issues with things about the prices, or sets etc.. Some Stuff or Parts can really be put to good use for other projects – this Suit is PERFECT example of that.)
The Boots are old Castaway Flap Boots that I repainted. Really I cannot see any classic Captain America not wearing these now – I will be very sad when the day comes that I run out of these boots! Hopefully by than David Lee will be making/selling them again. (Come on Dave we need these! – well at least I do
)
Shield is from another toy line – it is slightly larger than original mego scale – which works better for this project IMO
Cap is on a Zica Body.
I may try and upgrade his arms at some point once I come across the right pair of arms
Might just try and make a Hybrid set out of these & Wrestling arms.
Also Need a Bigger Star – will have to hit up Lazer Mego for that with my next order.
