    The American West Davey Crockett was the best of that series, plenty of accessories compared to the others.

    even though I'm a western fan, I agree that series was a far second to the Knights and Pirates series.

      I like Davey the most, too. Buffalo Bill is also nice. The line suffers overall IMO from poor head sculpts, and the Tex Willer line had a better idea in doing more colorful Western costumes. I don't have any Willers, I wish they weren't so scarce.

        Really I never knew about any other figures besides the superheroes that Mego made until I started collecting in the early 90s. I didn't even know that Mego was the company that made them.
