    Plasti-Dip cap or hat?

Has anyone here tried making a cap/hat from plasti-dip for a figure? I was considering making a negative plaster mold, sealing it, and spraying or painting plasti-dip into it to make one.

    How durable is cured plasti-dip?

I love the idea! I think it should be fine. I would check out Youtube to see if someone has tested the durability.
    This guy loves it!
In this quick video, I will show how durable and strong PlastiDip is once it is sprayed on a vehicle. I WILL KEY MY OWN 2009 Honda Accord Coupe showing you h...

I used spray plastic dip over the top of an Applause Dick Tracy hat and it worked well after several coats, I just peeled it off the DT hat and instant duplicate.

Thank you, this is all very helpful, & I received a good PM, too.

        The Flash cowl is amazing!

Can you imagine doing Mission: Impossible or False-Face masks with this? Even a classic Green Goblin one. Now I'm wondering about painting it lol.

I've experimented with a can of Plasti-Dip a little and these are the results I got after dipping Pez heads into the can
          batman_2.jpg

I peeled the plasti-dip off and cut out the eyes and face t make a removable cowl, and I'm not sure it so=hows up in the picture, but I made hands out of twist ties and dipped them to get hands with bendable/poseable fingers. I did start spraying a mego torso to make a an Batman 1989 movie style custom, but the spray is very thin, I think dipping may be working better me so far. It should work well for a hat I would think.
