Save the cheerleader, save the world... Wave 3

Well, it's that time of year for my next wave of figures based on the original Heroes television series. This year's wave features two characters whose story arcs were intertwined throughout most of seasons one and two, Dr. Mohinder Suresh and one of my favorite characters from the series, Gabriel Gray a.k.a. Sylar.

Last year, NBC revisited the franchise with Heroes Reborn and while it was nice to see most of the characters from the original series again it felt a little hollow without Peter and Sylar. Additionally, Heroes Reborn was only 13 episodes and, in my opinion, hindered the audience from growing too attached to the new characters that were introduced. Therefore, I believe Heroes Reborn was a modification of what the show's creator intended for a final season back in 2010 to bring a sense of closure to the series and its fans.

Great Set! I really liked the first few season of this show when it was on. I should go back and re-watch a few episodes now
