I loved the Doom co-feature in this....
and Kurt Busiek took us on a hell of ride in this book, one og the few bright spots of the mid-90s Marvel Comic output...
I also loved SVTU but only had a couple of issues as a kid, my favorite being this one...
aside from #9 which was an Avengers cross-over and felt more like an issue of Avengers than SVTU.

This is one of my favorite villain books:

But as for an ongoing book?
Gotta be the 70s Joker book:

Lots of fun stuff, Joker vs. Royal Flush Gang, takes on the Creeper & Sherlock Holmes, and even romances Black Canary! Sometimes I miss when Joker was kind of a funny murderer not psychotic? Does that make sense?Comment

Never really a Villain fan except that the closeness of Marvel Team-Up (as probably my favorite book as a young one) and Marvel Super-Villain Team-Up made me an automatic fan of the later. I still have several of them I bought in grade school. Probably would have been more excited about it if it had been regularly published. Seems like it was kind of spotty, if memory serves. (Still, it was a fun book)Comment

I thought the build up to the original Thunderbolts series was incredibly cheesy and corny. Then the big reveal at the end of the 1st issue sealed it as possibly my favorite villain story ever. Of course they came across as milquetoast do gooders. That's how bad guys would think good guys are supposed to act.Of all the souls I have encountered his was the most...human.Comment

I've only read one issue of this, but would love to revisit it, now...

I loved Medina' art in this book but I seem to remember the Abomination as being a hero at this point?

Joker's series was definitely good. wish they would put them all out in a TPB. it was only 9 issues as I recall. I have a few issues of the series but never completed it. hated that the comics code required he always be captured again by the end of each issueComment
