I remember getting some Machine Man comics in a three pack baggie as a kid, I loved the art but I couldn't tell you what it was about. Machine Man was one of the more inspired Kirby character designs though.

I don't think I was aware of Machine Man's existence until I read "Earth X" a couple of years ago.

That should be the Machine Man summation on Wikipedia...perfectly sums up an entire generation of 70's comic readers encounter.
