Walmart has just rolled out a special end-cap showcasing a series of limited edition re-releases that feature glow-in-the-dark slipcovers, and while the Universal Monsters mostly dominate the display, An American Werewolf in London, Child’s Play 2, and Halloween are also in the mix. They join Frankenstein, Dracula, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Bride of Frankenstein, Phantom of the Opera, The Wolf Man, The Mummy, and The Invisible Man. - See more at: http://ihorror.com/walmart-releases-....hrATNcVv.dpuf

sigh, more money to spend at Wallyworld. I've been meaning to get some of these on DVD anyways, and I am a sucker for glow-in-the-dark....

It's a pretty cool idea, but those covers are really bland and uninspired and I wish the title font wasn't so generic looking. The last DVD covers were much better, and the VHS tape series were the best ever and have yet to be topped.Comment

I thought they reminded me of something, and that's what.
Looks like they have DVDs and Blu-rays. Too bad I already have all the ones I want on Blu-ray.
I'd really like that signage, I wish I knew someone at Walmart that could possible grab them for me after Halloween.Comment

I love the glow gimmick. Especially on the Karloff Mummy. I'll pick up one or two, just for fun..

Saw these at Wal-mart, but I have all the Universal Monster films in the big blu-ray set, and most of the others on DVD. Tempted by Halloween, but it's barebones with only a trailer. I think American Werewolf in London is still on Netflix, so I passed on it too. No interest in Child's Play, personally.
