    Super 7 The Worst

Kind of cool. They have a nice late 70s/early 80s bootleg vibe about them.

Super 7 will be offering a Midnight Special for their upcoming The Worst 3.75" Scale Retro Figures. These are highly stylized, newly designed figures bringing together a wide array of sci-fi and horror elements. There are six figures in the first assortment. Here are details from Super 7: In the dead of night, the Worst...
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Pretty cool and the card art is great. Don't feel like spending ninety bucks for the whole set though.

I know... the price is rough. I still need their MOTU wave 2 also.

Great to see the bootleg art becoming more mainstream. Still a fan of boutique garage made stuff. This set is worth getting.

Cool set, like the character design and card art. I don't think $15 a pop is unreasonable for boutique figures.

It really doesn't remind me of that kind of hipster art stuff at all. I Think it is more like Warpo Legends of Cthulhu figures in that these look like something you could have actually seen on the shelves in the 70s and 80s. The Worst would fit in very well with stuff like Dragon Riders of the Styx or Bugmen of Insecta.

No, I don't think the price is unreasonable either, it's just not the right price when I'm broke!

                      ^^
That is the ideology behind the bootleg art movement. The idea was to create knock stuff style M.O.C. aesthetic but the hipster crowd embraced the concept and took it to another level, mainly kit bashing. The Warpo figures make sense since it's actually based on fictional characters from novels kinda like the Martian Chronicles Mego like figures from Larami. These to me definitely have more of the Star Raiders feel, basically coming out of left field wackiness vibe that is retro cool.

That Snake Tut figure looks like he'd fit in well with the 80s GI Joe stuff.
