FTC on Facebook wants YOUR suggestions for NEW licenses, brands, shows!

FTC on Facebook today asked its fans for suggestions for new retro figure licenses, brands, shows. FTC said it has heard Marvel mentioned many times and fans still Wonder what if Mego had made Star Wars!

Marvel and Star Wars?! Could FTC get both licenses from Disney? 8" or other Scale?

FTC is in the big leagues now to be asking fans this. Almost 300 fans have offered suggestions so Far!

Lynda Carter Wonder Woman, Christopher Reeve Superman, 12" DC and Marvel, Star Trek, Sid and Marty Krofft, Archie Comics, Indiana Jones are popular requests, Too!

They've posted all kinds of images in the past that made people speculate. This is probably just another keep the buzz going type of post. As long as people are talking they can keep people interested.

Personally I don't want to see them start any more new lines until they up their quality.

^^^ Exactly, they ask for input on new lines, but never on how they can correct issues. Maybe invest money in fixing head scale issues and the female body and they'd sell more figures.

Not only are we getting new mego's in 2016, but we actually being asked our wish lists.
Don't think any other mego maker has ever publically done that. Cudos to them!

Marvel replicas would be awesome, but haven't FTC gone for the licence before?
Star Wars characters would be very welcome 'IF' they can address the huge cranium problem. Can't see it happening though, on both counts.

I heard FTC tried to do 18" Marvel figures like DC. DST EMCE has 8" Marvel and Sideshow has 12" Marvel and Disney Store, too. Mezco One:12 Marvel.

What scale Marvel is left for FTC?

I wish FTC had freedom with 8" Marvel like FTC does with DC.

They aren't gonna get Marvel...Marvel has stipulations on how the product gets made, just like DST had to making their sets. FTC won't do it!

Starwars won't happen either. Hasbro will would make their own 8" figures before giving it to FTC

You are right. I just tweeted FTC and they replied:

Me: Do you mean that FTC Marvel & Star Wars figures are even possible now?

FTC: no they are not. Just a discussion on what else collectors have interest in.

Too bad. I thought FTC was dropping hints.

Hopefully FTC can expand its DC license to 12" figures and Lynda Carter and Christopher Reeve. And other big licenses, too.

I have to agree with this, sad but true.

We pay enough for these items, all we ask in return is to fix one or two issues we're not asking for the moon,
just get the head sizes right and most of us will be satisfied.
