I was notoriously bad at understanding lyrics. I thought the Bee Gees' "Tragedy" was "Raggedy". I was convinced they were singing about Raggedy Ann and Andy. I was five years old, give me a break haha.
One of my favorites that I sang for years was the chorus of Firefall's "You Are The Woman", that I thought went....
"You are the woman that I always dreamed of, I knew it from the start.....I saw your face and that's the last I seen of my eyeballs."
I still think of that every time I hear that songComment

My Friend used to Sing this Billy Joel Lyric...Wrong...
Oh, I’m going to listen to my 45’s
Ain’t it wonderful to be alive
When the rock ‘n’ roll plays, yeah
When the memory stays, yeah
It's a Kick in the Face
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
It's a Kick in the FaceEveryone is Entitled to MY Opinion...Your's, not so much!Comment
