The devil mask reminds me of a funny story that happened to me.

Back in the 70's I had a real devil mask almost like that one ... Found it in my closet from a years past Halloween.

Having nothing better to do I decided to plug up all the holes with masking tape and fill the mask with cement.

After it dried and I removed the mask it actually looked pretty neat.

I used to keep it in the crotch of tree limbs on my lawn and eventually forgot about it.

Fast forward a few years and my bro-in-law found it where I left it.

He was shocked and asked what the heck it was ....

I told him I found it buried in an old foundation along with rusty knives and other devil worship stuff.

He was shocked and wanted to know more .... I lead him on a while longer until my sis spilled the beans

I had a chance last night see these in person at their shop/warehouse.

They are, in fact, very cool.

The printing is clean, and the colors are bright.
The scale is shown pretty well in the pre-sale images but it is still impressive in person.

As to the quality?
I was happy to find that the plastic isn't as thin/brittle as the old masks (but still the same material, just a touch thicker) I would compare the thickness closer to that of a disposable plastic dinner plate.
The backing is just brown corrugated cardboard.

The boxes are almost equally as impressive as the masks themselves.

My only real "issue" with them is that I wish the interior facing side of the cardboard backing was black. If you are displaying these in the boxes, it's fine because the visual assumption is that you're seeing the box through the masks eyeholes, but if you're hanging these directly on the wall you just see brown cardboard from inside.

Kind of nit-picky, I know, but I honestly noticed it without specifically looking for something to harp on.

I wasn't able to buy the one I wanted last night (electric werewolf) as they said they just got everything in-hand this week and had only assembled so many of each at this point. My friends bought 4 or 5 of what they did have available.

I'm glad I know I can stop in and just pick some up instead of paying $20+ for shipping.

Oh yeah, they mentioned that another wave is coming shortly and that these are going to be regular stock items (hot halloween season only).
I didn't catch anyone mentioning if the next wave will be the same characters in new colorways, or new characters but it'll be fun regardless.
