It's Back! Return of the Plastic Melt!

So, I was going to do some upgrades to my SF WW and when I went to take her boots off, this is what I found. Looks like plastic melt is still an issue! Not sure what other figures may be effected but it seems the soft rubber material of the boots doesn't play well with the harder plastic they are using for the female legs.

FTC making the switch from hard plastic boots to thick rubber boots is a MAJOR turnoff with me. I have always hated that style of boot in this scale of figure, since Famous Covers, because they always look too big. Good thin rubber boots can be done (IE: Castaway Captain Action), but apparently some of these companies just don't get it. The fact that now there is a melt issue just cements my hatred for this style boot.

100% agree. rubber boot = bad. Hard plastic boot = good. The rubber boots will not stand the test of time as well, in just a few short years they will deteriorate.
My posts were needlessly deleted ...
