    Stranger Things Season 2

    As if there was any doubt.

    Today, Netflix announced the breakout summer series, Stranger Things, has been renewed for a second session.
    • Stranger Things 2 will debut in 2017.
    • Writers/ creators Matt and Ross Duffer will return.
    • Nine (9) new episodes are confirmed for the second season.
    • Stranger Things 2 will be produced by 21 Laps for Netflix. Executive Producers Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen and the Duffer Brothers will all return for the second season.

    Excellent! I know they're setting it a couple of years later than the first series. Hopefully, it will tickle the name nostalgic bones.

Loved the beginning using the old Eggo commercial and it seems like they're going to be approaching the Upside Down as almost an invading virus or cancer with the rift that Eleven opened being the doorway that's going to allow it to start taking over OUR dimension. That trailer got me more jazzed than any movie trailer I've seen, plus it debuts on Halloween!!!! I'd say that's a home run for both NETFLIX and the Duffer Bros.

              I'll watch for sure, but there was not that level of Ghostbusters costuming back then, was there?

                      Probably not of the store bought variety, but I could easily see a skilled Mom with a sewing machine able to produce a decent facsimile, plus the kids themselves seem fairly resourceful.

                        I agree... I made myself a custom Ghostbuster's shirt before the movie came out in 1984 and I hadn't fought a Demogorgon either.
