I think it's pathetic that nobody can replicate the Peter Parker hair cut for his bootleg head. It's just a Shazam with different hair color if the hair style isn't changed. Or is it just lazy? Or uninformed?

Not likely. Their using their own Shazam head, which they have license to use, and the name 'Peter' is not something you can copyright. The historical context is not anything I think would be an infringement issue. If it was, FTC's peers would be in bigger trouble.

I noticed the female gloves and boots. I'm sure those are from Jayna of the Super Friends. That should give another good option for the Batgirl figures. The more rubbery hands would allow a female figure to actually grasp things, like a batarang!

They're fine. That sculpt has no owner. It's not Shazam, not Parker. The Isis workaround makes sense. Without the packaging, there's no trademark. Filmation never established a symbol/logo from her outfit as her designate.

Very good to see them get into more parsing. The next step should be re-scaling parts from defunct 9-12" lines.

would be good to see those jayna style boots in male too as there are a few heroes/villains with similar boots and i don't really like cutting the hero boots to that shape.

I'm liking the looks of the new boots. I hope that they are made of a slightly thicker rubber, as the other boots they have are very thin. I was dressing one of my other figures, and the toe of the foot nearly went through the sole!

I'm going to wait a while before I start making purchases. I'm trying to bulk up my bank account.

just ordered all isis stuff and peter parker ,since their doing this ,I would also buy isis stuff in "12' size .this is really cool ,been wanting a retro isis ,would
be awesome to see FTC get the filmation rights and do Joanna Cameron isis .

I just heard back from them via email.

There are no panties included with the outfit.

So, we will have to make do with white shorts from Doc Mego. He's the only one that has them in white.
