    embroidery

    So;

    I got some figures in the works, and it'd be perfect if I embroidered their emblems onto their outfits. BUT I don't know how to do embroidery. (Supposedly my sewing machine will do it.) Anyone know any good websites or books that explain the process in a way a newbie can follow?

    Unfortunately, I am of no real big help to your question. However, I to am interested in having some apparel embroidered with my logo(s). I have seen and heard of machines that can do this although I may just elect to have it done out of house in my case. Dunno.. While we are on the topic of embrodiery can anyone recommend any good sites that do this? I will search the web later using google to see if I can find anything worthy. I would just prefer to know if anyone here has had any first hand experience or not. Thanks!

    Don,

    If you figure it out, somewhere there is an award waiting for you. My mom gave me her sewing machine a few years back... It came with a video that only accomplished making me feel stupid. My wife suggested I find a little old lady to do it for me.
    Don't be sorry. How would you know? You've been watching MTV all your life.

    I fully understand.... I went to the library but all their embroidery books are written from the point of view that you already understand how to do it. I MIGHT be able to figure it out with some monkeying around, but it'll take a while.

    *sigh*
