The original 1975 Parker Brothers Pay Day board game has finally been reissued.

Target exclusive. Found it tonight mixed in with the other retro toys on the end caps in the toy department.

Yes, Hasbro and Winning Moves have issued multiple version of Pay Day over the years including a "classic" version. None of them were even remotely close to the original version of the game.

This is the actual 1975 version of Pay Day. Doctor and car insurance, junk mail, post cards, sweet Sunday, etc. It's all there. The board is full size but quartered to fit in to a slightly shorter box. The card stock seems thinner on the Deal and Mail cards but are now glossy on both sides.

They also had a really nice looking Retro Series classic Battleship. Probably going to go back for that this weekend.

You decide to investigate... and you never return...
