Lil D takes on Aquaman and the Great White Shark

This product review is a bit late but I felt encouraged to go ahead and post it. I thought we could all enjoy a little "vintage" play time with my grandson, Lil D. Today's adventure is Aquaman against the great white shark.

This playset comes in striking packaging.

Also shows great toys coming soon!

It's very easy to access the contents for potential adventure.

Lil D immediately goes for Aquaman... naturally!

Aquaman is beautifully reproduced by FTC with authentic head, clothes, and even the legendary webbed hands.

But now it's time for the shark!

Uh oh! Here comes the shark! Aquaman get out of there!!

    Could this be the end?!

This doesn't bode well for our hero!

Aquaman suddenly makes a quick move!

Aquaman then wisely decides to train the shark.

Wow! Aquaman makes a new friend!! Dive into your own adventure today!!

      Super cool.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Look at that smile! That's the smile of a Mego Kid. I really enjoy seeing kids playing with ReMego figures. Reminds me me why I love Mego, by all the fun I had as a kid. Lil D should be the FTC spokesperson and his catchphrase should be:'These ain't your grandpa's action figures. Oh wait, they are!' (wink, thumbs up)

Now THAT is why I love mego's. Seeing them in the hands of children having fun makes my heart warm. Thanks for posting Tom. Will Lil D be looking for a new bath toy? 😉

That's what I'm talking about! Passing the Mego love down to future generations! Lil' D is a very lucky little boy! In this day and age where it seems there's a bit of role reversal happening....kids playing w/ electronics and grown-ups playing w/ toys. Many kids don't even know how to pretend anymore, b/c they're so busy playing videos games and watching YouTube. (I've seen this a lot!) Tom, I think it's really great that you share your love of toys and cartoons w/ Lil' D. He will grow up to have an imagination from all his make believe, and have many cherished memories w/ Grandpa to boot. One of the things I looked forward to when FTC came out was people sharing this love w/ their kids. I haven't seen a whole lot of that, which is why this warms my heart so much. Thank you Tom and Lil' D!

If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

What a nice time to be D's age. I envy you Tom, I had plenty of superhero play with my kids but the Mego Revolution came slightly too late for both of them.

I am settling for Ben Affleck Barbie, at least it's well made....

I still love that "commercial" for the Super Collector w/ your kids. That set-up (the basement?) was so classic, so 70s I wanted to move right in!

Great pics Tom! Lil' D is one happy camper, and you just can't help but smile and remember all those great play times with Megos as a kid.

I made sure Andrew had a depository of cobbled-together Megos to play with, but with Dani, I let Cindy go full bore Barbie with her. She then phased to American Girl dolls, but now she's DEEP into Lego. Not that I'm complaining!
