This new Batgirl reminds me of the DC Direct 13" Batgirl figure.

Man if FTC could make 12" DC figures, too.

Another giant head with horrible head sculpt and facial expression. Easy pass for me.

starting to think that "The Farrow" can't sculpt the ladies.

Okay. I just took another look at the pics. The face does seem off and does seem to have an oversized jaw like most of the other females of late, but it does seem more "finished" and not as rough. I'm still going go to hold out final judgement for now.

As for the gloves, I'm with the others of you who've mentioned it. Molded gloves (like the original Mego Invisible Girl) would be better.

Is that molded hair? Hard to tell. Again, another sloppy female figure. Hair, boots, gloves and body need help... This looks like a rehash of parts around the shop. Oh well, easy pass for me too.

Isn't the head just a repaint of the '66 Batgirl?

I was thinking it looked like Peter Boyle ( from Young Frankenstein, Everybody Loves Raymond)
for some reason....Bet this one has another wacky 2 holes in the head like the 66 batgirl?

Hm... You could actually be right about that. The only thing that could save that head sculpt would be to plunk it onto a male teen body, shave it's head and sell it with a Cher doll as part of a 1980s movie set.

No because the mask is different.
                      However, her expression looks similar.

                        So Batman wave 5 is

                        Batgirl
                        Catwoman
                        Two Face
                        Poison Ivy?

I also want an updated 8' Robin the Teen Wonder, I read his and Batgirl team ups in 1970s Batman Family! Updated Joker, Penguin, etc.

I'd like updated other DC like Superman and Supergirl!

And, yes we need Batman 66 TV wave 6 with Julie Newmar Catwoman! Maybe we can finally get Com. Gordon, too!
The Catwoman in this wave is the purple one with the cape, right?

I'm thinking its a resculpt, the jaw area looks the same.

The suit looks nice and I like the bigger bat symbol. The 'gloves' look good to me, too, but they do seem to bunch up the sleeves. How do these work anyway, if they aren't sewn onto the sleeves? Are they glued to the arms? Then there is the head sculpt ... this is just bad work IMO. It doesn't do the character justice at all. She's supposed to be a sharp detective, but this Batgirl looks pretty clueless.

That was always my favorite look for Batgirl. Unfortunately the head sculpt needs work. The FTC artist that does these seems to have real difficulty with female head sculpts. Square jaw, blank expression and one eye looks lower than the other or at a different angle. There's just something really off about it.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

^What 'Bro said. But I'm about 85% on-board with this one which is saying something considering my usual disgruntledness.
