Super Babies!

The Amsco Super Babies never warmed to me as a superhero loving kindergartener, I was well into Mego action figures by this point and Shazam's inaccurate red hair bugged me even then. As an adult, I think they're one of the most charming bits of 70s Superhero merch.

I'm pleased top announce that things have almost returned to normal here and I'll be updating the site again. Thanks to everyone for the kindness.

These are cute, but the haphazard choice of hair color does make them seem far more generic than the Super Jrs.

Okay, I'll step forward. I still have my childhood Batman. At about 4 years old, it was just the greatest. I picked up a foreign one in the box a year or two ago. I can see people being put off by these, but if you got one pre-Kindergarten, it will always have a special place in your heart. In fact, if you click my profile, you'll see that I made it my profile pic when I first joined this forum.

I kind of liked them. I had a boxed Cap one made by a foreign company called Plastico I think.

Only ever saw them in the illustrated ads in the comics.
It was many years before I finally saw an actual photo of one.

I have a Superman one but until now I thought it was Super GIRL because of the blonde hair. I used to have Spiderman too. Long gone though.
