    Meet Stanley

Meet Stanley, a new addition to our family!

So small he fits in the palm of my daughter's hand!
My wife and son rescued the little nipper Thursday evening coming home from VBS. They were coming off the Interstate and this little fellow was frantically running around on a median between lanes. My wife stopped the car, put on her hazard lights, checked the traffic, and had my son get out and grab him. She thinks someone in the car ahead just dumped him out!
She took him to the vet, he checks out health wise so he won't be a danger to Oliver (our 10-year old cat), and the kids named him, so it appears I now live in a two-cat household! He's only 3 or 4 weeks old, and while Oliver didn't seem too enamored of him initially, they seem to be warming up to each other .

I love when people save cats! Awesome kitty! (You might be spelling his name wrong. It might be Stan Lee...)

                    So darn cute!

Glad that you rescued him. It's such a great thing to have done.

We've rescued a couple of cats, who were outside our back window, over the years. One was about 3 when we rescued him. That was a full decade ago. He's always been quite appreciative.

                      Hi Stanley!!!!!
I love a happy ending and thank goodness your wife and boy were there to save the little fellow. May God bless your family for your kindness.
Cats by the way are much like potato chips, you can never have just one.

                          So cute!!!
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Thanks for all the kind words !
Regarding the name: my daughter came up with Stanley, in reference to the Pittsburgh Penguins winning the Stanley Cup this year. I only later realized that we now have a Stan (Laurel) and Oliver (Hardy); perfect!
