Still got these two hanging around, blue one cost me over 40 bucks in the seventies. GX Caliber with California Smokers I think? The Nash was a Target special.

A dogtown webbed edge board and a markovica board.

I just had crappy ones. Now I have a Jason Ellis Powell one and another with Indy trucks and Red Dragon bearings. I live just up the road from Tony Hawk's favourite Aussie skate ramp...but you won't find me on it these days.

  7. About 1976 I had a pretty cheap yellow plastic "bannana board". I always wanted one of the aluminum Banzai boards but never got one.

Used to make my own boards with either red or green kryps and california trucks back in the days of Lief Garret..lol..even made a 6 foot "speed board" to zoom down the giddy hieghts of greenwich park hill (london), knocking pensioners and courting couples into the air....

Hey I finally found a pic of the board I used to have. If anyone knows where I can get one like it I would really appreciate it. Heres the pic. Its a Per Welinder freestyle board.

  10. Does anyone still skate? I do, but I broke my arm super bad a few years ago so I'm a lot more timid when it comes to skating these days. I have a Gravity street deck and a Sector 9 long board. Usually I'll just get on my longboard and cruise around. No tricks or anything, just good 'ol sidewalk surfing.
