    red torso Deadpool

Larger red torso, to make him more buff. Altered pelvic piece, to look more masculine. I've got some swivel biceps coming for him from Doc Mego. I'll probably switch out the forearms for some that are more muscular. Hollow resin torso, hand cast by me. Mego pelvis, altered by me. Emce/Diamond Select original head, that turns properly in my custom torso.
The red torso reminds me of the larger twelve inch Spider-man figure.

I'll add an update as soon as my Doc Mego order arrives. Then I'll be able to finish his body.

Looks great!!!! This has a 12in Mego vibe for sure. As far as customs go I like having various torsos to make different characters. Racer X shouldn't have the same size torso as Speed Racer, likewise Pops Racer should have another size torso too IMHO.

I made a torso like this for myself, but I made the armholes for it too big for LJN swivel arms. I was intending to use pro wrestler arms and I guess I should have waited before I drilled the holes! Haha! Oops...

Are you rotocasting it so it's hollow or are you drilling it out? I rotocasted mine, but I haven't drilled it yet to see if it worked. I think I used too much plastic.
Expectation is the death of discovery.

Hollow torso, not drilled out. Drilled out is way different than hollow. Roto-casting is the way to go!

I wish I knew how to mix color well enough to get the proper Mego flesh color.

That looks incredible. Are you planning on selling those torsos?

If you ever make it back to Mego Meet Lonnie I think folks would love to see some of your methods in person.

I might, but can't cast them in an accurate flesh color. I'm sure going to keep trying, but the dye is expensive to experiment with.

I plan on going next year. It would be fun to show how I do it. Just today I started an experiment that I could show off next year, if it works. Is there a store near the meet that would carry the resin and silicone? I wouldn't want to ship or carry the chemicals. Two sessions would be great to work with those who want to learn how to make molds, those who would like to learn how to cast, and those who want to learn both. Wow, I just had an idea for mold making that I need to write down!

I would love to see a homemade roto setup.
Isn't Austin megowgsh local? Maybe he can tell you where to get supplies.

                            I don't use a machine to roto-cast, I do it by hand.
