Play Flixies 70s astronaut set

I found a set of these bendy figures on a flea market yesterday. 70s toys, which had all kinds of themes, from astronauts to Native Americans.

They just had the astronaut set, luckily my favorite, still nicely MIMB. My set has two astronauts on foot, one in a wheeled vehicle, and one in a flying saucer. A nice score for $10!

Congrats! I had a few of these figures as a kid--fire fighter, police, and green alien. I think my mom bought them for me in the 1970s from a drugstore called Peoples in the Washington, DC area. I've built up a small collection of these figures in recent years. They seem to have been sold by different names around the world.

Fun sets at an awesome price! Any toy with a cool UFO spaceship with a clear dome is collection worthy to me. Congrats!

My set is bi-lingual German-English. It says 1979.
This must have been a fun set for kids, 'cause you got four figures and two vehicles, enough for some serious playtime.

Yeah, and not that many images are available.
I think I put the pics of one of the sellers in my post. They neglected to say that one figure is missing from their set (metal detector guy): you can still see where he was, front and center. Mine has two astronauts on foot.
