    Hasbro SDCC Micronauts re-release

Whoo Hooo!! Can't wait for these, hope this is the first of many. I wish Space Glider and Acroyer were included but happy to see Galactic Warrior.

Yeah! Excellent news! I was hoping Hasbro would do something like this. And I hope there will be more. Interestingly, looks like they are deviating from the original Micronauts by using parts from other Microman figures.
I am more than machine. More than man. More than a fusion of the two.

hoping they do new figures in the vintage style.

I have no doubt that we'll be seeing much more newfangled Micronauts, but it's nice that they are going this route as well for old school fans like us.

I'm a little worried. The Galactic Warrior appears to be painted plastic rather than die cast. His upper arms and legs are using the same tooling as Pharoid. Still cool to get such a nice re-issue.

They say they are the original molds being used. I haven't opened mine yet. The box is so awesome, I don't want to open it!

I did read they are not die cast but painted (which makes them easier to stand). I believe Takara loaned Hasbro the use of original molds. There are some differences like the upper body of Galactic Defender looks to be from the Takara Micro Hoodman which should mean the helmet should fit as designed. Not sure if the gun and the missile are new designs? One of the heads looks unrecognisable to me from the Microman line.

I think they are probably molded in color and not painted. At least, that's what I hope.
