My wife, Jennifer, and girls will be around, but mostly doing Chicago stuff and visiting friends in Illinois... they may make an appearance, but will likely be quite elusive

I'm aware of one attempt to do a LiveCam of the Mego Suite and folks ran for the door...

I understand that alot of people can't make it, but, the joy of 'The Gathering' is something you have to personally experience and can not be captured through Photos or Videos.

Folks have a Year to Plan...

As you can see, people Car Pool and even share rooms to cut costs...and Chicago is a main hub, so flights are a plenty.

I'm an old-timer when it comes to 'The Meets', so I may not be the best source for an opinion, but, I don't recall ever reading a First-Timers review of Mego Meet being bad...

I'm gettin' tired of seeing Chuck, Doc, & Steve...would be nice to see some new faces

I used to drag Lily to meets, but because mego meet is so far from from columbus, i do not want to make the drive. The tables have turned -Lily is dragging me there.

I love Brining, pickles, beets, a turkey... This is my once a year no wife coming with adventure, In the suite I can drink, cuss and talk about things I did as a kid (without wifes stinkeye) or just geek out with what everyone is doing. Eat things that are bad for me...
