I thought I was crazy when I kinda remember seeing live action M.A.S.K. I was always asking at the convention about it and they would look at like I was crazy. Know thanks to this collection of commercials you can see the first live action characters and vehicles from the M.A.S.K. lineup.
I remember most of those Series 2 live action commercials VIVIDLY. I was convinced there was a live-action movie in the works! If only....

Those were great. Thanks for sharing. I still hate the switch to the racing theme, but man, they were still great toys!

The Microman commercials are awesome, they wouldn't let animation and laser beams fly in the US.

hmm I could have sworn Sectaurs was part of this line, but I'd guess it was just prior to that?
Thundercats were a part of the line-up,along with Droids and Ewoks.

It occurs to me that at one time, ROM, Transformers and Micronauts were all established as being part of the Marvel U, with GI Joe crossing over with Transformers. So this is not without precedence.

This Hasbroverse makes more sense to me than the great IDW crossovers in the past that have included Ghostbusters and Robots Vs Zombies etc.

J Jonah Jameson once showed up in an issue of G.I.Joe. There was a blind guy who ran a news stand and Jolly Jonah asked if he carried the Bugle. The blind guy told him "I don't carry that rag."
