I've been a part of a Mad Max cosplay group for a while now, and we're gearing up for a photoshoot next month. Emphasis is on shoot....

I built rounds of (spent ammo) into the gun, and a (non-functioning) but real chainsaw. Everything built from scratch, it was a fun winter, hammering away....

It was a fun project, everything was just junk lying around in my garage. The body of the gun is just a stage spotlight I gutted. The ammo inside the shell is visible, and looks "ready to fire", and there's a side "exit" for "spent ammo". The nozzle of the gun is just an old garden hose, repainted and weathered. A friend donated a broken chainsaw, which I weathered to get that rusty feeling (of having survived the apocalypse).
I love re-using old stuff, and I sometimes wander around hardware stores looking for the right shape for another project. When they ask me "can I help you?", it's really hard to explain "I'm making SciFi stuff"...

Just landed an acting gig in Atomic World, as a bad guy (what did you expect), called Snozzle.

Well, it was mounted on the original machine like this:

So I placed in into the "box" the very same way. Maybe European machines are backward....
