If we were going to design and to mass produce an 8 inch body; Jason (gaga4tyoyz) would deserve the lion share of the credit. He would have designed it from scratch as an armeture and we would then have sent it to somebody like Scott Fernester (remember GAH) to sculpt the muscleture. We would then have it sent off to be mass produced and seek out a couple of liscensed properties to produce with it... The hands and feet would also be new sculpts and the hands would be made of soft "gripping" material...

If we had happened to be going to an annual Action-figure meeting we would have announced our projects there, and given out a little token to the attedees and collectors...

This is all pure speculation mind you

Yes...that's a very interesting scenario! I wonder what "just the Body" would cost? Hmmm.

Will do! I was just curious...that if Cast-Away was able to mass produce these Bodie's...at a decent price...would You make the switch to the 8" World?

The body is in china right now. We'll be selling bodies for customs but don't know a price yet. I would imagine they are going to be more than a standard mego body due to the amount of parts needed for each body and the extra assembly work needed. We tried to have every feature in the body we thought everyone would want. Havng the feet snap onto a ball, the shoulder and hip balls and the neck on a half ball will do wonders for posing these figures, not to mention the knee and elbow joint. I can personaly say after working on this for over a year and half I think it was worth the wait. When I get some time I'll post some pics of pieces of the armature. I made alot of the pieces on a lathe and a mill out of aluminum. Stay tuned Dave and I are just getting started.Jason

NEVER!! But I could see using those bodies for the Golden Age Atom and a shorter Wolverine. I've got too many custom figures to pull a switch. Mrs. TBolt would kill me.
