Oh geez, way to go Aaron!

I loved the comic series, so was wary of this show. The first episode wasn't as terrible as I thought it might be, I'll keep watching. I don't like how they are removing the whole road trip aspect, but realize it is likely due to budgetary reasons. I'm liking the portrayal of Cassidy so far, but feel that Jesse and Tulip were miscast, maybe they will manage to grow into their roles.

Ahh, okay. I was already fans of both these actors from the British show Misfits. They guy who plays Jesse is great in that, and also great in this dumb sci-fi action movie called "Lockout".

Caught it for free on i-tunes. Mostly well-done. I struggle with gore, though, so I couldn't handle the 'open your heart' scene, ugh!! *Love* the church signs, tho'; & Arseface too!...oh, & "Tom Cruise explodes" news announcement, OMG! Embarrassed because i caught myself LOL! wonder how that one's going over in Hollywood?!

Wow, really? I watched that show years ago, and don't remember any of the actors (except the guy that plays Ramsey Bolton on Game of Thrones) so I did not know that, interesting!

So who watched Talking Preacher?

I found it silly and usless. Chris keep asking questions that he knows full good and well they cannot answer properly without ruining the show. Heck most of the Easter Eggs I found would spoil the series and that was just in the pilot.

No new episode, they showed the pilot again. Next Sunday will be a new one.

Watched the pilot last week and Talking Preacher this week. I agree with monitor_ep, the "Talking" show is getting old for all of their shows, although I do still appreciate the Talking Dead (original show) every now and then. As for Preacher, never read any of the comics, but found the Pilot interesting and will definitely tune in again next week for the second episode. I actually burst out laughing about 7 or 8 times throughout the Pilot episode, completely in line with my own dark sense of humor.

I have no clue who the characters are or where this story is going, but I'm finding it compelling. Super quirky editing/story-telling with a bunch of wackO (supernatural?) folks…*sorta like Fargo with monsters.

That snarky lil' spunky killer girl is intriguing and the drunken Irish Vampire vs. Cult Bros church-fight was indeed fun. Strangely for me, I do think it would benefit from dialing down the gratuitous blood-n-guts a little. A bit distracting to otherwise engaging scenes me thinks.

Chris Hardwick is just one of those guys who mostly drives me crazy - so I avoided watching that and the "Better Call Saul" show.

I really liked the last episode. The fight scene in the church was absolutely fantastic. I have high hopes for this show and hope it keeps taking these huge risks with audiences, because to me it's totally refreshing.
