Super Sentai Dairanger marathon coming to Shout Factory TV

I'm not a big "Five Man" show guy but I think stuff like this needs to be encouraged.

Shout! Factory announced that the Super Sentai Spectacular marathon will return this month, this time with Gosei Sentai Dairanger!

Just like the first Super Sentai Spectacular, which featured Kyouryuu Sentai Zyuranger, it will be once again hosted by August Ragone, the author of Eiji Tsuburaya: Master of Monsters, and we will once again learn some stuff we didn’t know about the series. It is likely that this marathon will air the first 7 episodes of Dairanger.

Super Sentai Spectacular 2 will happen this May 21st on Shout TV’s website, on Pluto TV channel 515, and on the Pluto TV app.

I've never watched the Japanese Sentai shows. I imagine they are not as light(?) as the Power Rangers? I still enjoy watching the Rangers from time to time. Has everything I love about superheroes. Explosive, mind blasting images, cool designs, giant robots and lots of fighting.

Actually, they can be downright goofy. One of the reasons I don't collect the Mego-Esque Popy figures from "Battle Fever J" is because I kind of loathe the show. They're dancers each with their own style of dance, it's hard for me to watch.

The only five man show I like is the US version of Dynaman.

If I had lots of money, I would love to do a line of Mego scale Super Sentai villains with the fancy duds and armor. That would be such a cool line of figures to have.
I did check a trailer of Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger, and the animal headed guys look pretty corny, but I’m sure I could get used to it after a couple of episodes.

If I had lots of money, I'd produce all the classic Kamen Riders.
