Great picture.
My son studies the Entertainment Earth catalogs religiously and is always asking me about the different monster toys/collectables. His latest obsession is with the multicolored vinyl Godzilla kaiju and he asks questions like "is Biolante really rainbow colored on the inside?"

I often rip a couple of pages out of it before I give it to my kids, don't want my son studying some of those Anime statues too closely.

Ha! He hasn't shown that much interest in the girly statues yet. Tho he did make a funny comment about adults liking skinny underwear a little while back.
It's all about the Goji right now. And anything Alien.
But, back to the original post - I should follow that Godzilla's example. I am sure I have a stack of Toyfare somewhere. My kids would love the twisted theater.
Is Dr Who popular with kids today? My youngest is heading to 6th grade, and the new school asked incoming 6th graders to do a questionnaire. One question was whether they're Whovians. The wife and I had to think for a minute.
I just love it!!!! It's so much fun to watch your kids embrace those things we grew up with. It's little bit like looking in on your own past with a slightly different skew.

Maybe Ed and I should have some more conversations about the sordid side of Japan while your kid is within earshot.

Now there's a kid with good taste!
I wish I hadn't tossed all my Toyfares years ago, my kids would probably enjoy looking through them. (wish I hadn't gotten rid of all my Toy Shop mags either!)
